Ahhhh!!! I forgot one or two things!!!

He said my "stretching" theory was not correct. After the surgery, he said, the weight of the bladder would cause it to descend into the 'void'. That void is only about 1/2 an inch. The pain and discomfort is from being invaded...

Also, he said I might take longer to "heal" and regain continence because the procedure was a little more invasive than normal. Yeah... he did it on ME. That's more invasive for sure. (c:)~

The nurse said she didn't think he'd "let" me keep the external catheter. I would've fought her for it. (c:)~ The doctor didn't have any problem with that. The concern is a risk of infection. Just keep things 'clean'.
